DESCRIPTION: \nGod Wins \nThis Easter\, the Council are pleased to provide another unique country Convention opportunity for you to be part of. Whether an instilled tradition\, or the first time you’ve heard about us\, we pray that you will come and join us as we learn how and why\, ‘God Wins’. \nThe allure of success and being a winner is ingrained in our culture. Our Aussie Cricketers were so driven by success that they felt the need to break the rules to win at ‘all costs’. People foolishly choose to lie\, cheat or steal in an attempt to get ahead financially or to gain kudos for their performance and be seen as a ‘winner’. \nWhile we may despair at many things we see and hear in the world around us\, for those who have read ahead in God’s Word\, we can be reassured that nothing happens that takes God by surprise. He is sovereign and totally in control and one day Jesus will return triumphant\, as He has promised. \nJohn 16:33 – ‘I have told you these things\, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble. But take heart!
